Learn New things, Think Creatively, develop Community
For years we have known that exercising our body is important for our health, particulary as we get older.
It turns out that exercising our brain, as well as our body, is one of the best ways to fight memory loss. That is why the Early Alzheimer’s Foundation Inc created The Memory Tree program. We have so many different kinds of classes – you’re going to love it! There is always something new to explore and enjoy.
Scientific research shows that, with mental exercise, the brain can generate new neural pathways that can help offset or retard memory loss. Unlike doing push-ups, this kind of exercise is entertaining, fun, and doesn’t make you sweat! You’ll learn new things, enjoy making new friends. Plus, at our in-person programs, you can enjoy a delicious snack as well.
As a non-profit organization, fees for our programs are on a sliding scale. Scholarships are available, and some of our classes and programs are free. Discuss this at the time of your free interview.
When do you Meet?
We offer our classes on most weekday afternoons. You may enroll in one or more sessions. The on-line classes are one and a half hours in length, and the in-person programs run three hours.
